Captain Embergrin (from the Chieftan Collection)

$275.00
Sorry, this item has been sold.

Once the most feared pirate in the Sulfurous Straits, Captain Embergrin earned his name when a powder keg mishap left his beard and the flesh around his jaw permanently scorched. Instead of hiding his disfigurement, he wore it like a medal—burnt flesh, bone peeking through, and eyes that glowed with rage and a touch of madness.

He was a collector of cursed relics and rumored to have bartered his soul in exchange for eternal firelight—hence the hellish glow that never left his skull, even in death. His crew said he used to light his pipe with nothing but the heat radiating from his eyes.

He was double-crossed by that same crew off the coast of Zanzibar. They tied him to his own mast and left him to burn with the ship. But he didn’t stay gone, and now he serves as a warning to all who seek riches without respect for the old codes.

. . .

The Trophy Sconce adds dramatic lighting to a wall, bar, or any vertical surface that needs just a touch of the jungle. The flame bulb illuminates the skull and fills the room with warm firelight. The realistic skull is sure to make your guests take a closer look and probably question your life choices.
